Finger Prints...

I went to the USCIS office to get my finger prints taken and walked into the most fascinating building... It seemed like an abandon shopping mall, so ready for its close up for some indie movie. It was weird! and inside of this massive building there was only two stores. One was the "Fashion Bug" and the 99 cents Store. I know many of you will wonder why this fascinates me so much, but I guess I really loved the aesthetics of the florescent lighting and the endless amount of space that wasn't being used.

New York Cares Day @ PS 85Q

While working on the Mural Project I met the most wonderful people... Kate and Yuan the artists, Tom our team leader... We also had Principle Ann opening the school for us to come work... After weeks of planning and drawing out book covers... We finally manage to finish 20 Canvas for it to be hung all around the school. Principle Ann mentioned that the building was more then 100 years old so this might be the best way to show artwork rather then on the actual walls...I think we were all shocked how successful it all turned out. I wish I can upload all 20 book covers but that will be too much... I had a lot of fun and met some really cool people!!! I am sad now that we don't have a special project to work on together...

PS 85Q

This weekend I went to PS 85Q in Astoria to meet up with two artists, to sketch a mural we are doing for this school. It was a beautiful day and I got to know a little more about Queens... It brought me back to when I was little attending school for the first time in a America. I knew PS 70Q, the elementary school that I attended when I was 7 was near by... Walking into this cafeteria really brought back memories, along w/ the weather!!!! I felt like time froze since then and nothing has changed...

Oktoberfest in NYC

We all met up at the lower east side to celebrate Oktoberfest... The size of the mugs, and the amount the boys drank was out of control! The pictures were a bit out of focused but I felt this described better of what the night was like.... Probably doesn't compare to the Oktoberfest in Germany, but we made the best of it in New York City!!! (^0^)

The full moon

I was walking home and just could not walk away from the moon hiding behind the clouds...
